Due to Europa League which I think we'll do well in with Bilic I think we'll struggle in Prem. Maybe 13th.

We have the potential to finish six but I think 13th 14th is most likely.

We were lucky this season to get off to a flyer.
Without that we would probably have been relegated
There is a lot of rebuilding for Slaven to do ~ A change of style, new players to bed in, an early
start to the season making it a long season, with tired players & the inevitable injuries with the unwelcome diversion of the Europa cup
Add that to increased expectations of the fans & the emotion of the last season at the Boleyn
We'll need to spend a lot more than £25million to get anywhere near the top 8/9

I see no reason why we can't continue to play as we did during Sep-Dec last season if we keep hold of the better players and add to them... I hope we keep Vanencia 'cos he was pretty integral to that style of play which seemed to work.
I read an interview with Bilic in which he said he had watched 10 of our games during the last week, presumably the ones shown on tv last season, so he knows what the team is capable of at both extremes!
On that basis I would say 6/7th, with a +10 goal difference!

As I responded to comma the other day when he put this question to this board, mid table, some top exciting nights, have a go in the cups, and play good football. And it's pretty much exactly what they've all come out and said now.
People were getting far too hung up on what most fans expect, especially outside of the club, as if we think we should be challenging the top 4. It's just not the case, I think what we want more than anything is a little bit of hope. Allardyce was such a defeatist, that he made you believe everything was impossible. Bilic isn't promising anything, but he makes you believe anything is possible. Massive, massive difference to fans of a club like ours.
I tell you one thing, he won't be forfeiting games. We'll definitely get some spankings along the way, no doubt, but we won't be going anywhere and rolling over before a ball is kicked.

We'll finish higher than 12th and Blagg will be gutted as his bitterness over BFS will still be there.
Everyone else would have moved on, 99% of fans have already.

Europa cup extra games.
More importance given to domestic cups.
Players out/players in.
Taking all that into account I'd be happy enough with a 10th place finish. Higher, hopefully.

Depends how far we go in Europe and how many players we sign. These have big factors on our league finish.
I'm hoping 9th or 10th. Soton may struggle with Europa league but then Swansea, Stoke both look in good nick and Everton will expect to improve. Palace with a full season under Pardew could be ones to watch.
It looks like the mid table clubs will be the most competitve for years

I'd be with 9th if we played decent footy and gave it a go away from home. Cant expect too much with new Manager and players

Considering we were 2nd to bottom of the current form table (8 games) at the end of the season, and the bottom team went down, it looks like it could be a tough start to the season. We also can't discount Allardyce's history of leaving the whole structure of a club fucked up when he leaves, causing them to continue the slide he instigates.
That said, the chairmen did make some good signings at the start of last season, and before Allardyce demoralised everyone, they proved they were quality and could play some lovely football. If a few more good signings are made I'm confident Bilic will transform things and reverse the way we were heading.
I reckon we'll win it.
